This past weekend I was at "Come to the Waters"... a conference for women in ministry. There were about 450 of us there! There were great speakers, workshops, etc. But the best part? Connecting with friends I rarely see (they live in other parts of the country), meeting new friends, and... laughing.
Laughter is good for the soul, isn't it? And somehow, when you are with people who are walking a very similar path to your own, there's alot to laugh about.
When we had a denominational meeting with all the Free Methodist clergywomen there, someone asked: What would you like to see happen if we were to more frequently get together? What's your need? Your expectation? You hope?
My answer? Laughter.
Today find someone you can laugh with. It's good for the soul!
