Waiting...

As many of you know, we've been in a mode (ministry-wise) of 'exploring the land.'  At the beginning of March, God seemed to be significantly shifting what we'd been doing with The Loop (it seemed to be doing a disappearing act)... and so we began 40 days of 'exploring the land' (the allusion being to what Joshua & Caleb did).  The 40 days are over... and while we've had all sorts of interesting conversations and unexpected happenings, we still don't have an answer for which next territory we're headed towards.

Thankfully, over the past few years I've gotten better at waiting.  I'm still not GOOD at it, but I'm better than I was.  This past Sunday I was a guest speaker at a church, and I spoke on Sarah (as in 'Abraham & Sarah').  She had to wait a very long time (90 years) to see God at work in the way that she'd hoped.

Waiting is okay.  There's a gift in waiting.  We're on an adventure.  We sense God's presence and peace.  I just hope I don't have to be 90 years old for the waiting to be over...
