I've been on the road most of the past 2 1/2 weeks. Half way through this time I got a cold. So for the past 8 (9?) days I've been dealing with both the upheaval of travel as well as feeling lousy.
You know what happened? My healthy eating and exercise flew out the window. Okay... maybe I threw it out the window. But today... it's Monday. A day to start the week fresh. A day to eat a bit healthier. A day to... maybe not exercise, but at least sit outside in the sunshine! Maybe tomorrow I'll feel well enough to go for a long walk. It is a beautiful time of year, after all!
I'm glad God loves me whether I'm eating veggies or junk food. But I'm also glad that He loves me enough to want me to live a healthy (and disciplined) life. So today... I'll let both the veggies that I'll eat and the sunshine that I'll bask in remind me of His love!
