Home

This month marks my living in Minnesota for 13 years... longer than I've lived in any other state (unless you add up all the different times I've lived in Massachusetts, AND you include the four years I was in college in Maine, but my "home" was in Mass.).  Because I've lived in 6 different states (10 different towns) when people ask me where "home" is, I'm never quite sure how to answer.

I love Minnesota.  It's a great adopted home.  But having moved as often as I have, I still find that I hold locations of "home" quite loosely.  

But there's one home where I want to put roots down deep.  The "home" of life with God.  I want my place of safety, comfort, and "feeling like I belong" to be with Him.

Hey Minnesota?  You're a beautiful, great place to live.  But you can't hold a candle to being at home with God!
