This past week I've been pondering this notion of a "mobile church." On the first page of our church website (www.getintheloop.net), it asks this question: "What would it be like to be out on the open road with Jesus?" It's asked that question for over a year... it's crucial to the vision for The Loop. But about a week ago, I began to realize... at this point, we haven't done too well on the "mobile" part. Our meetings have been pretty focused on our home.
Another element that's crucial to The Loop is training others who can lead. Again... at this point, I've been the "point person" for everything.
But now I'm asking some new questions... how do we really start putting this "mobile" plan into action? How do we get others to take Jesus with them... to their workplaces, or schools, or friendship groups?
Pray with me for the next segment of the journey...
