Yesterday and today have been sunny and warm. (Yesterday was a record... in the low 60s... and today is in the 50s). The snow is almost gone. The ice in the lake is melting. And I'm wondering when we'll get socked again with snow! (Honest... we usually have a late March or early April storm that brings in 6-10 inches!). But for now I soak up the sunshine and the warmth (I even went outside to sit for awhile this afternoon!).
For this gardener, spring always brings hopes and plans for the coming garden. This winter we had to cut down a bunch of trees due to disease. But that means sunshine in new places! And I begin to plot and plan what and where to plant.
We're in a ministry "spring" as well. Lots of new faces at Alpha (all college students). And plans beginning to take shape for the next step after Alpha. I woke up early this morning and couldn't fall back to sleep because I kept having new ideas!
Whether it's in the garden or in ministry, I DO love spring!
