This past week I had a long drive, and turned on one of the local Christian radio stations. At one point the announcer came on to talk about a new program that was being introduced on the weekends. After explaining the new program, he said something like: "and we're doing this because it's all about you!"
WHAT? I sat in the car, stunned. A CHRISTIAN station telling us that it's all about us? or me? or you?
I have news for you... (which I hope isn't news)... it's NOT all about you. Or me. Or us.
It's all about an incredible triune God, who loves us and gave Himself for us. And when we make our lives all about HIM, then we live our best lives possible. When someone tells you that "it's all about you"... even if it's a "Christian" radio station... don't believe them. It's a lie that will eat your soul.
