God Speaks Through a License Plate

In the Bible, God speaks through prophets, the written word... even a donkey. But who would have thought He'd ever speak through a license plate?

Yesterday Mashal and I pulled into a parking lot, headed for Menards. We were in the middle of a great conversation, when Marsh stopped and said: "Do you see that license plate on that van?" I couldn't. But the license plate had an unusual last name on it... a last name of some old friends of mine, that Marsh has never met (they live in another state). "I really feel like God pointed that license plate out to me because we're supposed to pray for your friends" said Marsh. That may seem a bit odd to you, but I've learned that God gets Marsh's attention in some odd ways... and it usually really is God speaking. So we stopped and prayed for this family, not really knowing what was going on.

When I got home last night, I emailed my friends, not even sure if I still had the right email. I soon got an email back. Yes, they are in need of prayer. Their kids are far from God, and they just got bad medical news for the husband. The wife had been out walking the dog yesterday afternoon asking God how she was going to deal with all this. Then my email arrived. When she emailed me she wondered if Marsh saw the license plate at about the same time she was talking to God.

Would you pray for my friends C & N? God's obviously called Marsh & I to pray for them, and I'd like to ask others to pray as well. Thanks.
