I've learned that colors really do affect my mood. Last week I "color-washed" our kitchen. It's been off-white, and I added a pale yellow/gold wash over the white. I love it, and every time I walk into the kitchen now I smile. The color really does make the difference... TO ME. To Marsh? The day I finished, he came home and after standing in the kitchen for awhile, I asked: "Do you like the color?" He said: "I thought you'd only gotten the taping done (to prepare to paint)!" I laughed... color is obviously not a big deal to him!
Maybe colors is why I like gardening... and art... and working with many, many different types of people in life and ministry.
I pray that The Loop would be a color-filled place!
