My life has been flashing before my eyes. No, I'm not talking about a near-death experience, I'm talking about transferring files from one computer to another. Some of the files are over 20 years old (ouch! That makes ME feel old!). It's an amazing feeling to watch pieces of your past flash before you as the files transfer. The brain is an incredible piece of work... I could see the title of a file briefly appear on the computer screen, and up would come memories and feelings from the past.
Apart from being amazed at the capacity of the brain to remember, is another feeling... frustration. I don't really like computers. I think they should be like cars... easy to drive, but I never want to have to look under the hood. Transferring lots of old files has given me hours of frustration. But... I think I'm getting near a stopping point (no, not the end, but a sensible stopping point). When I do, I'll be able to upgrade some software, which will then allow me to start getting The Loop's website up and running. I'll keep you posted...
