I've been thinking more about my last blog. I'm well aware that Jesus often talked about being "the good shepherd" and that his sheep know his voice (in the middle east sheep are not kept in a place with a fence, but they learn the voice of their shepherd and follow it). How might Jesus be "calling" to my "herd"? How should I, as an "under-shepherd" call?
Jesus loves His sheep... even when we stray. He goes hunting for us when we are lost. He takes care of us when we are hurt. THAT'S how his sheep come to know his voice and follow him.
Lord? I want to love this flock in a way that reflects your love...
