I'm working on creating a Bible Study for our "original" Loop Team on the Book of Acts. Why am I creating a new study, when I could go to the bookstore and get something off the shelf?
Over the years of doing ministry, I've come to realize something. Most "bible studies" get you learning with your head. That's good. But there's so much more to Christian growth! Jesus didn't tell His followers to love God with only their minds. Jesus told his followers that the "greatest commandment' was to love God with your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
And so... I'm working on a study that gets people responding to God in all of these ways... with our hearts, souls, minds, and energy. I call it the 4 Ls of reading a Bible passage... Learn (head), Listen (soul), Love (heart), and Live (strength / energy). I'll let you know how it goes...
