I just sent an evite for our next Alpha meeting (Wednesday nights, dinner, Alpha video, bonfire). This is the same format we used last time, except that last time it was a warm night, and even though we did the bonfire, it was really too warm! But now... the weather has truly turned, and a bonfire sounds so... nice!
Perhaps we'll keep the bonfire at the end of each session... which would put us still doing bonfires in December!
Hmmm... I feel a new slogan coming on: "Alpha... warming up your fall and winter..."
I'm praying that Alpha will do more than warm our fingers, toes, and a few marshmallows. I'm praying that it warms up hearts as well, as people begin to get to know Jesus...
