Spring Weeding in September

That wonderful fall crispness is in the air (a bit early, but I love it anyhow!). The temptation is great to ignore the weeds in the garden at this point... the flowers are blooming, and way too soon frost will kill everything anyway. So why weed? Because I don't want to deal with more weeds than I have to in spring!

Yes, some weeds are annuals. Once frost hits, they are gone. But the perennial weeds won't magically go away (even when the snow flies)... and even the annual weeds are having a fine time leaving seeds for spring. So... I weed.

Alot of things in life that are like this. The temptation is to ignore it, hope it goes away (like extra weight, or a bad habit)... but if you want to prepare for the future.... you need to weed.
