Every month I write a prayer letter and send it out to a team of people who have agreed to pray for me. It's so encouraging to know that people are praying for me, us, and The Loop. It's also encouraging to stop once a month and ask: What has God done in the past month in answer to our prayers? (or maybe without us praying, but simply as a gift!). June's prayer letter reminds me to stop and be grateful for the opportunity I have to teach a college class where I get to challenge students to think about what to believe, and also where I get to teach then about world beliefs, as well as my own faith.
If you were to monthly "update" people on your spiritual life, what would you be thankful for? What would you ask others to pray for? (If there's something you want me to pray for, for you, let me know!)
