I continue working on contacting 100 new people to talk about The Loop and I'm amazed at how many times I have to reschedule these meetings. It feels like most get rescheduled at least once, some more than once. Sometimes it's emergencies... I just got a cancellation from someone who has a relative dying. But more often I'm the victim of "double bookings" (the "oops, I have two things scheduled at one time.") Usually the person contacts me ahead of time, sometimes I end up at a coffee shop waiting. And once in awhile, someone simply forgets (hey, I understand. I missed a meeting a week ago because I thought it was an hour later than it actually was).
I'm also often finding people saying: "yes, I really would like to get together with you... I have time in six weeks." Wow. Are we really that busy??
Folks? We all need more breathing space in our lives!
