My office is almost clean and organized. For weeks it had been the "landing zone" for... papers from the class I was teaching... items for The Loop... Christmas Card mess... and anything else that had no place to "go." Wow, can things become chaotic in one room in a fairly short period of time!
Kind of like my soul when I don't spend quiet time with God. When I'm "too busy" to be still and quiet and listen, then my inner self starts feeling chaotic as well. Fortunately, what it takes to get things "organized" in my soul is simply extended times of prayer, quiet, and Bible reading... not a vacuum cleaner or pitch fork!
