Help from others
One of the biggest challenges for us at The Loop has been childcare. I think I can safely safe that it almost "undid" us as a group. But we've now had two weeks when things have gone beautifully. What's changed? Two things. A friend of mine who has done children and family ministries for years talked me through what we were struggling with and helped me see what needed to change. And then... we found a high school freshmen who our kids love, and she loves them. We were ready to hire professional daycare! But this young woman is an answer to prayer. Woo-hoo!
Superintendent (overseeing some wonderful pastors and churches), adventurer, writer, spiritual director, strategist, and occasional thrower of pots (on the wheel, not across the room)! Married to a wonderful guy named Marshal.
