Okay, this is getting silly. The Loop's foundation is "Teams" of people who meet together & serve together. These "teams" usually (okay, up until now, ALWAYS) start with an Alpha class (Alpha is a 10 week introduction to Christianity). And up until now, it's been pretty easy to keep track of our different groups. But it's getting confusing. Here's the deal: Our first Alpha class became team #1. Simple. And when they were team #1 we started a new Alpha class. So... we had one team, and one Alpha class. But then... we added another Alpha class. Okay, so we have Alpha 1 & 2... or is that 2 & 3? And now one of our Alpha classes has finished Alpha and has become a Team. Team 2, right? So does that make the Alpha group that is left, Alpha 1, 2, or 3???
Let's face it. We need to get creative and actually name these teams. Any ideas? So far, after posting the question on facebook, I've received the following suggestions: The Loopey Group, The Mongooses, "something having to do with weaving loops", name them after streets in "the loop" (uh... wrong city!), name them after roller coasters (are there really that many names of roller coasters?), kattjm (initials of people in the group). Ah.... someone with some creative brainpower, help me!
