The celebration of our Savior's birth. From heaven's perspective, armies of angels singing. Wild celebration. The Savior is here!
From earth's perspective, dirt, hay, animals, and the dung of a barn. A young girl in labor. A questionable birth.
God's perspective is so much different... and better.... than ours.
Planting a church that does not have a building (or any plans for one), or a central worship "event" (Sunday morning) requires, for me, a consistent commitment to searching for heaven's, not earth's, perspective.
Thank you to those of you who that you have joined with us in this journey, as you have faithfully prayed for us this past year. True prayer is something that requires us to seek out heaven's perspective... and I am so grateful for your partnership! Your prayers have resulted in heaven singing as people are coming to learn of the Savior.
May your Christmas be blessed with glimpses from heaven, the wild celebration of heaven instead of earth.
Much love,
Pam Braman

Pam,
I was so blessed by your Christmas letter. How amazing God is and I thank Him for you and the way He is working in your lives. Thanks for sharing.
I'm taking your letter as an answer to a prayer that I prayed on my way home from work yesterday. I said, "Lord you can help me find a spiritual director...you know what I need and you will send me the right person." Then voila!!! your letter came in the mail and for some crazy reason, it has escaped my attention that YOU are a spiritaul director and perhaps you could connect me with someone you know. I know that there is a directory, but it feels to me kinda like opening the phone book and going to the first dentist you lay your eyes on. Not the kind of random process that I would trust my teeth to, much less my soul. Do you get what I am say?
This is too long for a comment on your blog...suffice it say, too bad it is already out there!? Send me an e-mail or call me. Did you get my Christmas-New Years letter? If not, you can view it as a note posted on my fb.
Lots of love,
Roberta
