I've come to realize that what is a "normal" schedule for other pastors (and for me in the past) is no longer my "normal." Gone are the days of heading into the office 5 or 6 days a week.
My new "normal"? Abnormal!! Planting The Loop, making contacts, working on teaching videos, denominational responsibilities (I just became an Assistant Superintendent), teaching at the local college, writing, finishing up some graduate work, doing spiritual direction... all of these things are part of my life, my week, my month (sometimes even my day). There is no "normal" day anymore.
But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way...
