Silent Nights and White Christmases

This morning, I spent time thanking God for a great visit with my brother and his family. The kids had never seen snow (they live in Florida) and - WOW! - did they get to experience snow and cold while they were here. One nephew informed me that I live at the North Pole! They built a toboggan run and were out there almost every day they were here. They are full of energy!

Yesterday they were thankful to get back on the road to home and warmth and sunshine. And me? I'm thankful for a home that's... quiet...

We had a White Christmas... and now we get to experience a Silent Night...
