You know how it's fun to do special things for your birthday?
And you know how the day before a trip is usually crazy-busy getting ready for the trip?
Today these two things are colliding in my universe. Yes, today is my birthday (of course I'm not telling you which one!) and today I'm packing to leave for LA tomorrow. In LA I have a board meeting for Arrow Leadership Ministries (see www.arrowleadership.org if you want to know more, but it is a great organization!).
It would probably be enough to be getting ready for the trip... but in addition to that, tomorrow morning I'm teaching my humanities class the basics of Christianity (and of course that's something I want to teach well!) I'm looking forward to that... but want to be well prepared for the discussion.
Well... the class prep is done, the packing is almost there, but I still need to get bills paid, laundry finished, medicine picked up, library books dropped off, etc., etc., etc.
But MAYBE I'll still have a bit of time to sneak in some birthday fun!
