Professor Pam
I've been praying for more opportunities to connect in the community, and I just got a great open door! A couple of months ago, I had called around to area colleges, to see if they had any teaching positions for someone with my background. I got nowhere! I was even turned down for a tutoring position. But then, last week, I got a call from a college just down the street from us. The academic dean saw my phone number and called (he didn't know my background, but was calling to ask). To make a long God-story a bit shorter, I just was offered a job teaching a humanities class. AND... in addition to the curriculum covering the arts, it also covers topics like morality, life after death, and religion! And the dean welcomed me to start teaching my strength... religion! What an awesome open door! For those who have been praying for me, an extra big THANKS!
