I love the clear, clean, brisk fall air. It refreshes and revives me after the warm summer.
Just like I love working with, brainstorming with, and collaborating with other people. Working with others refreshes and revives. (This is actually one of the hardest things about this stage of church planting... so much of it is solo.)
A couple of weeks ago, I was together with a couple friends in ministry, telling them about where we were "stuck" with The Loop. They could see our situation much clearer than I could, came up with some great suggestions, and gave me "fresh air"... that refreshing sense of newness, a new day.
Then about a week ago, we had a group of college students in our house. Talking with them about the vision for The Loop and getting their positive response refreshed me.
I've also been "doing coffee" with other church planters in the area. Although I'd like to actually get a group together that meets on a regular basis, even just "doing coffee" has renewed.
Here's to more days of the refreshing fall air!
